Yes – your basal metabolic rate can be estimated based on your body composition. For more precise methods (e.g., indirect calorimetry), you may receive a referral from your doctor. It is important to note: numbers are only helpful when translated into concrete habits.
5. Medical and Legal Questions
No – as a nutrition therapist, she is not authorized to prescribe medication. If you are receiving GLP-1 analogs from a doctor, she will support you in adjusting your diet and lifestyle.
Many statutory health insurance companies subsidize nutrition therapy if a doctor’s certificate of necessity is provided. Asli Demirel is happy to assist you with the application process.

6. Costs and Documents
The introductory consultation with Asli Demirel is free of charge. Hourly rates, individual services, subscription prices, and flat fees can be found under »Fee«.
For medical indications, many health insurance companies contribute to the costs. For long-term support lasting one year or more, individual subscription prices are available. A social fee arrangement is also possible upon request.
